

Aims and Objectives
It is the aim of the school to enable each student to achieve his or her maximum potential academically.
Student progress is monitored throughout each year, with progress reports issued twice a year. Regular parent/teacher evenings enable teachers to discuss student progress with parents. When required, interim reports are provided and interviews with parents arranged.
Excellence and achievement are encouraged by a system of Awards, culminating in presentation at special assemblies.
Students experiencing learning difficulties have access to a resource teacher and programs of remediation.
Narrabeen has a fine record of Academic Achievement at both the Higher School Certificate and the School Certificate. In State and Australia-wide competitions in English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, Economics and Business Studies, students have gained outstanding results.
As a Sports High School students who have special talent in sports are able to pursue their sporting interests along with their academic studies.
All students benefit from the excellent opportunities in recreation and sport.
