Jurasic Park comes to Narrabeen

Bob Whiley from Australian Reptile Displays presented his Snaketails Seminar to Years 7 and 9 in Term 3.

Year 7 and 9 students enjoyed a 2 hour session with Bob Whiley and his reptile friends, learning about their environment and reproduction. They also found out about the more dangerousd Australian reptiles and the first aid needed.
The display related to the Year 7 unit of work on living things and the Year 9 units incorporating ecology.
The students enjoyed the display and were thoroughly entranced by the opportunity to handle many of the non-venomous lizards and snakes, abet carefully, at the end of the session.
When four of the year 7's presented a powerpoint display to the whole school on assembly, there was much amusement when they showed one of the female teachers with a live snake necklace.
