Look whats happening in VET Construction

Have you seen the latest project that Year 12 Construction are producing? In the TAS quadrangle, week by week these students are constructing a fully plastered wall of a house. At the moment it has a frame, roof trusses, space for a frame and window and the intention is to complete the job with footings and paving. Students from Pittwater High school come to participate in this course and have spread the word about the exciting project they are completing at Narrabeen prompting teachers to phone us to find out more. It has been fascinating to see this project progress each week and we are delighted to have Mr Tapscott in our faculty as he has a Trade background and is really assisting these students to develop their skills ready for work placement in the construction industry next week.
