Year 8 has a picnic in the park

This term Year 8 Mandatory Technology has been investigating and preparing a variety of multicultural food products. They were then required to find a multicultural recipe of their own and modify it in some way so it was healthier and could be taken to a picnic. Students made changes such as reducing the fat and sugar content; and making muffins rather than a whole cake. The students developed some delicious products including: Tim and Karl's chocolate brownies, Maddy and Roimata's Caesar salad, Courtney and Lauren's chicken wraps and Charmaine and Taylah's choc chip muffins. The unit concluded with a picnic in the park sharing their delicious food. Well done 8MT1.
