Prefects Index

"First Among Equals", the Prefects of Narrabeen Sports High School are elected by their teachers and peers to represent the school, fulfil important functions around the school and set standards which are an example to all students within the school.

Assisting with the smooth running of the school may mean anything from guiding prospective students to officiating at special assemblies, from organising and participating in fundraising activities to welcoming official guests and from making formal speeches to helping out at the canteen.

Additionally, the prefects represent their school on youth working parties, in public speaking competitions and at formal ceremonies both within and outside the school. The honour of wearing the prefect badge is one to which students certainly should - and do - aspire.
